With the biggest fight of the summer just days away both Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito have begun making there final preparations. Margarito spent Monday at the gym in Los Angeles as Cotto arrived in “Sin City” to face the media rush. Most boxing insiders are expecting a war this Saturday night some even saying it will be the “fight of the decade”. With that last statement however I must remind everyone that Corrales vs Castillo (arguably the best fight ever) was in this decade.

Without a doubt this fight is huge. You have Antonio Margarito a effective brawler that does not back off. In the other corner you have Miguel Cotto a former amateur star now trying to cement his legacy as one of the best pros of 1990’s-00’s. The winner of this fight will go on to great things…….possibly an Oscar De la Hoya or Floyd Mayweather Jr showdown.

As the anticipation grows so have the ticket sales. The MGM Grand is expecting a sell out this Saturday night.
